Almost Done!

I'm almost done with the semester. It's so close that I can taste it... I've already gotten a 96% in my BCIS class, a solid B in my FIRE class, probably close to an 85% in my MKTG and probably over 90% in my MGMT.

There will be a bigger post about my MKTG class once the semester's finally over. I can't wait!

Oh, there are some new cats.

Finals Week

Well, next week is finals. We don't even get any time to study this semester - so wish me luck. I'll be hunkered down for the rest of my free-time this and next week, so don't expect any posts. After that though - I'll finally have more than a fleeting moment of free-time! JOY!

One other great thing, I never have to hear another lecture by my BCIS professor! Last week he told us all about the joys of SDLC (or "Waterfall" design methodology) and how it is revolutionizing the software industry, but how Object-Oriented "design patterns" were becoming more prevalent. *knock-knock* 1993 called, it wants its design patterns back.

ALL B'S!!!

Phew! I got my grades today and found a delicious surprise; not only did I pass everything - but I got ALL B's! This is phenomenal since I took both Accounting 292 (Managerial Accounting) and a stats class this semester. Two hard classes, both with cumulative finals and the Accounting final not letting us have ANY notes, formulas or even a decent calculator.

*does a happy dance*

In honor of this joyous day, you may all listen to schnappi and view the mortgage bear of fortune for some happiness.

Finals Are OVER!

Oh, thank the Gods! I am finally finished with finals! My marathon Tuesday started with BLAW at 08:30 then came BCIS at 01:00 followed by ACCT at 03:45. I wasn't finished until 06:00! My accounting final was 20 pages of 60 questions, 70% of which were computation. My gods, my head... it hurts. So much.

What I'm trying to say is, I'll have time to post again!

Another Day of School Down

Wow, I'm finally done with another day of classes. Eight AM classes really do kick my ass; getting up before the sun is never a good thing for a human being like me to do. It makes me drag for the whole day. Everything's shaping up well though, this shouldn't be a bad semester for me. *knocks on wood*

Currently I'm getting up at 06:30A and not getting home until around 07:00P. How late do you guys usually stay out of the house?

School and Dvorak

Well, my Summer class is finally complete and I have free time again! 'Tis very exciting as I have numerous projects just waiting to get started!

My first project is going to cut down on my posting frequency a bit, but I'm learning the Dvorak keyboard for some truly masochistic fun. I'm still junt getting started and its painful. My once 112 WPM rate is now down to a measly 20WPM. I'm glad that most of my time is spent thinking.
