Adding a Flickr Badge to Your Blog
September 25, 2007
Some of you may have noticed the addition of my new Flickr badge up in the corner of the screen. It is fully my intention to post pictures of moldy coffee in the space so thoughtfully provided by our benefactors, but I needed a way to make those moldy coffee pictures known! Enter flickr.
Anyway, finding the badge code on Flickr's home-page is a bit of a pain in the ass. It ends up that you have to go through You -> Your Account -> Extending Flickr -> Setup Your Blog -> Blogging FAQs -> Find the Relevant FAQ -> Click the Link. A bit complicated, eh? It took me quite some time to locate it - but after finding that link it was as easy to setup as adsense's embedding. Nice.
Anyway, you can go through my flickr photos and view some really old screenshots and one of my old apartments for now. Joy, be sure to check out my old networking closet.

Caturday Now Has Tags!
June 06, 2007
That's right, in a weeknight code-a-thon I, the great guru, added in tagging support for the beautious kitties found on my Caturday page. I shall now have to begin going through my kitties and adding in their metadata for everything to be worth anything... but now it's just a matter creating some well crafted XML files!
Maybe I'll have to force Draz to help me...
James, you can upload your cats to your home directory at your leisure. I will move them out later after I get a unique-ifying script written up.
