A Long Weekend

So, this was a very long weekend indeed. Friday was spent packing and cleaning but was otherwise totally uneventful. Only a brief lull before the weekend actually began.

Saturday though! O glorious thou art! E. and I made our way to the great grove of Maples (apparently folks around there consider "Large Sprawling Suburban Housing Complexes" to be Maples. Go figure) in order to attend Andy's honorific graduation party. Much fun was had getting to hang out with Andy and friends.

Even Mike A. showed up to the party bearing a green laser pointer with all the safeties removed. It was great delight to draw black dots on James and then hit him up with the tingley (apparently it felt like an IV insertion) green concentrated photon emitter. Draz was there to make fun of people and receive comments on his shiny head of course. Sadly, we left before we got to see James partake in tippie-cup.

Oh yes, there were also tasty margaritas. Rather than the traditional Tequila, Cointreau and Lime Juice Mix - Andy's mom used Lime-aid (I think it was), beer and Tequila. It was an interesting mildly carbonated, though far less alcoholic than I would have liked, tasty bit 'o goodness. Then there was of course the taco bar. Mmm. Tasty tacos. Oh, this was after E. and I ate at Famous Dave's for 1st dinner. Tasty chopped BBQ pork was had by us.

Sunday I slept until around noon and then E. and I went out shopping for some pots and some sort of Clint Eastwood collection. Alas, St. Cloud is devoid of any sort of real media outlet and the Clint Eastwood collection quest was met with failure. Oh well, perhaps E. will find that link helpful. There was also a special about pirates on the History channel. Sadly, I didn't get to see much of it before I was instructed that I had to shower.

So um... ya. I need a nap.

Congratulations Andy!
