Scott Adams, I Love You

Scott Adams recently had cause to uncover the great philosopher Baruch Spinoza. I must say that my religious beliefs mirror his quite nicely. The universe is God. I believe in the universe. Therefore, I believe in God. Yae God!

In keeping with Scott's great format, I will predict that Draz will offend someone in my comments.

The picture is very relevant.

Dell Doesn't Watch the Blogosphere

... or it's own blog for that matter.

There was a recent article over at Service Untitled about Dell watching the blogosphere. I was pretty impressed with the fact that a Dell Rep. actually responded to the article... and market-spoke around any questions asked. The latest thread over at direct2dell about their botched Vista Express Upgrade is up to 58 comments with no response. Seriously guys, why even open such a thing and not participate?

Their comments threads have repeatedly been dugg and reflect the lowest level of ire that the moderators let through. I know that Dell won't do anything, but I want this out there for the next time someone googles about Dell's business tact - or cites their blog as a great instance of customer service.

Can We Stop Reposting Digg and Reddit Entries?

So, I'm starting to get really bored with blogs and the internet as a whole. Why? I'm getting bored because of sites like Digg and Reddit. Don't get me wrong, they're great sites and I love their content. My problem is that a large portion of the good blogs are starting to discover them and are no longer writing their own content. If I see a post on Digg or Reddit, I can be assured that my favorite blogs will be reposting about it tomorrow. I just really wish that I could weed out all of the reposts and only see real new content.

A plea then... Stop reposting Digg and Reddit articles. We don't care, because we've already seen them ourselves before you did. Go out there and make or find some original content already!

That is all.
