I actually did this, but DnD inside of WoW instead. I believe the server crashed (at least that's what I'm forcing myself to remember).

And yes... WoW servers adhere to Quantum Mechanics. As soon as you consider them, you alter their state irreparably. If they worked prior to your simulated dice, and you considered the dice, the whole cluster will come crashing down in a tumble of Murlocs.
