The Silence Before the Storm
March 07, 2007
So I've been quiet for awhile. I know. My nights have been spent working on a very sekrit project. Citescape's coming by today to see if I can get service at my location so that I'll finally be able to have real internet - as opposed to the watered down view of it that Charter has. With that in mind, I will simply say that the attached picture is very related. Salivate*.
*Yes, I know that Jesse won't salivate. He's the only human alive to not adore cats.

Jordan, I just hope it works my friend. I am sending Randy, one of our techs. Keep in mind, he is smart, but NOT a genius. He will do all that he can to make it work. Cats, gross.

Jesse, I hope it works too! I'm at home awaiting Randy's arrival.

Randy's here right now. He's got excellent signal from the St. Ben's tower but nothing from the ground to Becker. He's grabbing his equipment to check from up here.

Lookin' grim... lookin' grim.

:( No dice. Randy tried every which way to get it to work. We could get a close signal but nothing that could lock the AP. We could even get Ben's to show up, but not lock. Randy was saying that he can get a clear shot from the Ben's tower and should be good to go if we could mount something on the roof. I'll try calling our on-site managers here later on today - did you ever get anywhere with the big W., Jesse?
Jesse 2007/03/07
No I did not. But they are much more apt to listening to someone who pays them than me. Damn, that sucks.

Jesse, sounds like T.E. Miller won't be letting me do anything like that. I am, however, having our manager check to see if there are any height restrictions regarding if we could put a big-ass tri-pod and pole on my balcony.

You are a determined man Jordan. Let me know what you come up with
Jordan T. Cox 2007/03/07
Jesse, do you think you can run the pole idea by Randy? He knows roughly the height and whether or not you guys have the equipment to do something like that.

Why don't you email me your exact question and I will forward it to Randzilla (as I affectionately call him).
